EVENT OBJECTIVE: A 50-kilometer (31.07-miles) race will be held in conjunction with Day One of the NY Pioneer Memorial 100-Mile Trek.

***Check-In: At Boathouse located near 164th Street and Oak Avenue starting at 7:30 AM.

***Course Description: Loop is on macadam footpaths with two hills (one is very steep, but short). Loop has been

measured as 1.4216-mile. Course is mainly shady and Park activity will be moderate.

***Auto Directions: LIE East to Exit #24 "Kissena Blvd.". After exit, proceed STRAIGHT on LIE Service Road for .6 mile to turn

LEFT onto 164th Street. Go .8 mile to Oak Avenue; make U-TURN and park adjacent to Kissena Park.

***LIE West to Exit #25 "Utopia Parkway - 164th Street". After exit, STRAIGHT on LIE Service Road for about .75 mile to RIGHT

onto 164th Street. Follow above LIE East directions to Oak Avenue.

***Grand Central Parkway East (connects with Jackie Robinson Parkway from Brooklyn) to Exit #16 "Parsons Blvd.". After exit,

go STRAIGHT on GCP Service Road for .5 mile to LEFT onto 164th Street. Then go 2.3 miles to Oak Avenue.

***Parking: On the park side of 164th Street or on Oak Avenue.

***Transit Directions: Long Island Railroad (LIRR) - Port Washington Line (718-217-5477) to "Broadway" Station.

LV Penn Station: 7:19 A.M. LV Woodside: 7:31 A.M. ARRIVE Broadway: 7:42 A.M.

Walk south on 162nd Street from the Broadway Station to Kissena Park. Total walk is about one mile.

AID & FACILITIES: Water, Gatorade, defizzed cola, food snacks, medical supplies & restroom facilities will be provided.

POST RACE & AWARDS: Special Awards to Top Finishers: Award to Each Finisher. A litelunch & soft drinks will be provided.

ENTRY PROCEDURE: $20.00 for BUS, GLIRC & Taconic RR Members & Staten Island Residents $30.00 for non Members

$35.00 for All post entries

SPECIAL PERK: Each starter will receive a commemorative race shirt designed by Barbara Christen & David Luljak.
