Alicja Barahona at the Thames Ring 250 miler:

Let’s congratulate Alicja on a great run in the Thames Ring 250
in England. She came in 3^rd over all and the only woman finisher.
She completed the run in 79:55, finishing well under the 100 hour
cutoff. This race is tough – out of 34 starters only 11 finished.
The entire distance had only 10 aid stations necessitating the
runners to carry a lot of stuff to get through the 25 mile (approx)
segments. Freaky hot weather made it an even bigger challenge
